Chair: Alexander Godinez-Robinson

My Story

Federal Program Manager: National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) U. S. Department of Energy (DOE); Alexander graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in June of 2015, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, focusing on International Relations and Comparative Politics. Alexander pursued a graduate degree from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England, receiving a Master of Arts in Security and Terrorism, graduating with Merit. He also completed a second graduate program at the University College London, receiving a Master of Science in International Public Policy. Alexander is a Federal Program Manager with the National Nuclear Security Administration,

managing the NNSA Graduate Fellowship Program (NGFP) and Minority Serving Institutions Internship Program (MSIIP). He also has extensive experience working with leadership development programs outside the NNSA. Every summer, he volunteers in California to work with high school leadership students, teaching leadership development and seminars on time management, effective communication and collaboration, ethical leadership, and personality/work styles. He is also a certified MBTI and StrengthFinders trainer. Alexander served as a Chapter President for JSA in high school and as a summer Program Director for the Junior State of America. His experience and understanding of JSA will help facilitate the continued growth and development of the Civic Leaders of America.
